Cycling tours around the mountain enclave of Hatta offer a different sort of excursion. A series of routes takes the cyclist through dry stream beds, or "wadis", out-of-the-way villages and small farms. Alternatively cyclists may choose their own routes.

A backpack with maps, water and other essentials for a day's outing is provided by the Hatta Fort Hotel. Coach transfers between Dubai and Hatta complete the package.
